Virtual Event

Our May 2020 ELITE STYLE event was a virtual event due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with an aim of bringing you positivity and practical beauty tips during these unprecedented times.

Founder and fashion stylist, Gloria Fairhurst, loves a classic manicure done by a professional manicurist and also enjoys painting her own nails at home when time permits.
Over the years, Gloria has mastered a number of classic manicures at home and here is her simple step by step guide, if you would like to give it a go:

1. Clean your nails with polish remover.
Gloria used Mavala nail polish remover.

2. File and buff.
Gloria used a Mavala emery board.

3. Push back your cuticles.
Gloria used Mavala cuticle oil and cuticle sticks.

4. Exfoliate and wash your hands.
Gloria used Mavala rejuvenating mask for hands.

5. Moisture your hands and cuticles.
Gloria used Mavala hand cream.

6. Using cotton pads and water, remove any excess cream from your nails.

7. Apply a base coat.

8. Apply your first coat of colour.

9. Apply your second coat of colour.

11. Let your nails dry naturally and wait 5 minutes.
Or alternatively use a good quality nail dryer, if you have got one.

12. Enjoy looking and feeling glamorous!
